Orchestra in concert

NEXT CONCERT

Our next concert will be on April 20th.

It will begin with two works new to the orchestra, the premier of the Alamein Overture by David Meakin and Penillion, an increasingly popular symphonic poem inspired by Welsh folk-song
by Grace Williams.

The final work in the concert will be the monumental, ground breaking and delightfully melodic
Symphony No 1
by Mahler, known as the Titan.

The concert will be conducted by Tom Newall
