NEXT CONCERT

Our next concert will be on October 19th.
It will begin with Nielsen's Helios Overture, inspired by the sun and warmth of the South and named after the Greek god of the sun. Our principal trombonist, Gareth Brown, will play the dramatic Trombone Concerto, composed by the talented Danish composer and conductor Launy Grondahl during his time in Italy. The final work in the concert will be the most popular and the most frequently recorded of the Sibelius symphonies, Symphony No.2.

We are delighted to welcome Alec Frank-Gemmill to conduct the concert.
